YOUR IMAGE. YOUR CHOICE.

Privacy & cookies.

Updated 11 October 2026

Giant Tiny Images is an image utility from The Giant Tiny App Factory. This page explains the image tool, the surrounding website and advertising separately.

Your image stays on your device.

The image-processing tool reads the image you choose, resizes or converts it in your browser, and prepares a download. It does not upload your image to a server. There are no accounts or analytics in the processing tool.

The tool holds the selected image in memory while you work. Removing it, closing the page or reloading clears that working session. Downloading saves a copy using your browser. Your original file is not changed.

We do not promise to remove embedded metadata. When keeping an unchanged original gives the smallest result, its existing metadata remains. Inspect your image and its metadata before sharing if that matters for your use.

The website still makes ordinary web requests.

Your browser requests this page and the separate image-tool page from our hosting. The hosting provider may keep ordinary access and security logs, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs and request times. This is separate from the contents of your image.

The tool runs in a separate browser frame. The surrounding page receives only a height measurement so the frame fits its content. It does not receive your image, filename, image dimensions or export data.

Advertising and cookies.

Google consent messaging and display advertising are currently disabled. Their setup is pending. No Google script is requested by this site in that configuration.

When enabled, a Google display ad will appear below the tool on the Images website. Advertising is separate from image processing. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or other identifiers and process information such as your IP address, browser, device, page visits and ad interactions to deliver and measure advertising, subject to applicable choices.

Consent messaging can be enabled separately before display advertising. This allows its behavior and choices to be checked before requesting an ad. When Google's consent API is ready, a Privacy choices button appears in the Images page footer so you can reopen the consent message. The image tool and this privacy page do not load the Google script.

Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s cookie information. Your browser also provides controls for stored site data and cookies.
